The Ultimate Hunter Knife.
A knife designed by hunters - for hunters.
Countless hours of butchering in the field and trial and error with different knives led to the design of this knife. It has received input from hunters with countless hours of experience between them. That is why we have called this knife THE ULTIMATE HUNTER.
Functionality
Designed for multiple uses in the field, the shape of the blade lends itself to skinning, butchering and boning deer and similar sized animals. The size and shape of the handle suits most hunters and it is comfortable to use for prolonged periods of time.
Blade
Made of 1084 carbon steel, the blade keeps an edge longer than a stainless steel blade and is easier to sharpen. Less time sharpening, more time cutting. It will patina with age and achieve its own character. The upward curving tip is very sharp and perfect for piercing skin. The continuous curve in the belly of the blade provides a much larger cutting surface where you cut most. The end of the blade and the full grind provide assistance when boning. The edge is sharpened to an angle of 20 degrees.
A full tang means the blade is integrated into the handle and makes for an extremely tough knife. It can also be used in a survival situation.
Handle
The handle material is either micarta, natural material mixed with resin, or sometimes wood. It is near indestructible, comfortable to hold, and it has incredible anti-slip qualities. When wet the natural material comes into its own. You will receive the knife with a finely polished handle (polished to 2500 grit), however it can be roughly sanded at any time, for an ever better grip.
